Australia Metal Stamping Company EQUIPMENT Precision metal stamping is a process for punching markings. Precision stamping machines exert a high level of force to engrave dies and forms onto the surface material.
Metals such as steel, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and copper are the most commonly stamped materials, though other metals, plastics, and cement can also undergo precision stamping.
Production
We do a wide range of production methods with advanced technologies and solid capabilities to fabricate custom work using our automatic and high speed equipment.
For our laser cutting process, we use AMADA FO-3015 and FO-3015NT. They bring new dimension in our sheet metal processing. They are our optimum solution when dealing with a large mix of materials . These machines have high feed rates and operate in high speed. They are highly accurate in cutting very intricate shapes and small holes.
Together with our skilled and expert workers, these laser cutters have perfected cutting performance. Optimization right down to the minute details, leaving an edge with a high quality surface finish.
Laser Punching
Australia Metal Stamping Company has laser punching and tube cutting capability through the AMADA EML 3610 NT. It is the combination of punch and laser technologies. It makes possible to deliver the advantages of both processing modes of providing the combined approach of low cost punching and the flexibility of laser cutting in one operation. With this machine, we can incorporate precision punching turret, upward or downward forming facilities, part marking function, metric and imperial tapping head, high quality laser profiling in one combined uninterrupted operation. We benefit by removing many secondary processes and the need or cost upkeep of special profile tooling.
We also have the most versatile rotary index laser cutting system the AMADA FOM2RI 3015. It has the power and speed to efficiently cut mid to thick materials. With its rotary index, it is extremely easy to switch flat sheet cutting to tube or pipe cutting. This allows us then to cut tubes made of carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum. Maintaining accuracy from end to end.
We cut tubes of any shape:
round from 19mm – 220mm, square 19mm – 150mm, rectangular 220mm diagonal, angle 90mm x 90mm and channel 150mm wide
Bending Process
AMADA HD 1303 NT and 8025 NT highlight our bending process. These press brakes can handle a full range of applications in bend lengths from 101 to 161 inches. They are equipped with a hybrid drive system engineered for high-precision bending repeatability. They are made to operate on the principle of parallel deformation for obtaining a uniform angle all the time for the punch to penetrate the die uniformly and naturally. Secondary to these two, hydraulic press brakes are still very much around.
Deburring Process
For our deburring process, which is the smoothening of rough edges or ridges of metal components, our AuDeBu Edger R does all the refining of rounded, contoured shapes and elongated products. This machine is also capable of deburring complex shapes and is highly suitable for molded products just as well. A six-brush structure is installed in AuDeBu to increase productivity. This allows ideal deburring without excessive load pressure on the product.
Final Stage
The final stage of precision metal stamping is the surface metal finishing which is a series of processes to which metals are submitted. From the design and engineering, a metal passes through the hot and cold sheet metal works such as metal blanking, sheet metal deep drawing, sheet metal bending, punching threading, etc. For the final external treatment of a metal component, we have the latest and dependable machines for tapping and drilling, thread rolling, Argon welding, CO2 welding, and lathe. We also have Demmeler Modular Welding System for fixture construction. It allows adding or adjusting in a component in mere seconds, limitless on the sizes or combinations of fixtures. It can handle a complex piping arrangement to the largest articulated trailer and beyond.
